Half-brother of the 2006 Bundeschampion, Quaterback, who sent a colt to the 34th Hanoverian Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction that brought 120,000 Euros - a new price record. The sire of Quaterstar S is the Brandenburg stallion Quaterman, who won his stallion performance test in Neustadt Dosse in 2003 with a total index of 126.80 (dressage index: 134.75, jumping index: 101,40). Quaterman wins ribbons in dressage up to advanced (S) level. Parana is also characterized by outstanding movements and exterior.
Quaterstar S also has especially effective movements. He is a horse that can do anything: dressage, show jumping or eventing. He won a prize in June 2011 with the following scores:
